There is not much out here. That is the appeal, and it is also the problem if you need a motorcycle. Our rental bikes are based just outside Pahrump, about 30 miles from Death Valley Junction and about 59 miles from the Las Vegas Strip.

The rental is part of the $399 supported ride. You get the motorcycle, the fuel and the day, with a chase truck and a homemade lunch. It is not a bike-only daily rate. Details are on the rental package page.
Plan around
the heat.
The riding season runs September until it gets too hot, usually May. Summer is off. Fuel stops are far apart out here, so plan your own driving too. The Death Valley guide and the Tecopa guide cover the region.

What $399
gets you.
- A high performance KTM or Husqvarna dual sport, with fuel.
- A helmet, plus some additional riding gear if you ask ahead.
- A chase truck carrying your gear.
- Chef Ruth’s homemade trailside lunch, drinks and snacks.
- A beer after the riding is done.
Bringing your own mechanically sound, street-legal small dual sport? That is $299 per rider, with everything else the same.
We start just outside Pahrump, Nevada, about 30 miles from Death Valley Junction. Meet at 7 AM, kickstands up at 8 AM. Groups of 3 to 6. Booking is not open yet, so get on the list and hear first.
Bring the skills.
You need a motorcycle license and intermediate to advanced desert-riding experience: rocks, sand, loose gravel, big hills up and down, and side hills. Small dual sport bikes only. No adventure (ADV) bikes. Read the full rider and bike requirements before you make plans.
