A weekend worth explaining on Monday
Ride into the weird.
Ride back with a story.
Some weekends disappear into errands. This one is being built around a long stretch of desert, a properly dusty motorcycle and a motel that will make the group chat nervous. The Tonopah Turnaround is our upcoming two-day dirt adventure to Tonopah, Nevada, and back.
The plan: more than 300 miles across the weekend, wild desert trails, a natural hot-springs stop and a night at the Clown Motel. Bring your riding buddies. Let someone else explain the accommodation to their spouse.
“Two days of dirt.
One night of questionable dreams.”
Day one:
chase the horizon.
Settle into a full day of dirt, wide-open Nevada country and the kind of riding that makes lunch taste better. We’re building a route with room for rugged trails, big views and the occasional pause to appreciate just how far away the office feels.
Tonopah is the overnight destination. Dust off, find dinner and get ready for a very different kind of check-in.
The Clown Motel.
Yes, that one.
The Clown Motel in Tonopah is a real place, and it is the planned overnight stop for this ride. Its clown theme makes it exactly the sort of only-in-Nevada detour this weekend deserves. Whether you find that delightful or mildly concerning is a conversation for the ride up.
“The trails have character.
The motel has several hundred.”
The stay is part of the planned weekend concept. Room arrangements and the final trip package will be confirmed before bookings open.
Day two:
soak up the scenery.
More dirt. More Nevada. A return ride that earns its own chapter instead of feeling like the commute home. We’re working a natural hot-springs visit into the weekend: a chance to slow down, swap stories and give the dust a fighting chance of coming off.
The spring, access arrangements and which day we visit will be confirmed with the final route. For now, picture a full weekend with plenty of riding and just enough time to sit still.
Coming soon.
Keep a weekend open.
This is a trip in development, not an open departure. The final route, mileage, riding level, bike requirements, departure point, hot-springs access, motel arrangements, support and pricing will be released before booking.
No dates have been announced. The standard one-day Roundup prices do not apply to this weekend. Check back for the full Tonopah Turnaround release, or explore custom guiding and trips for your group.
Looking specifically for a big-bike ride? Our upcoming adventure-bike trips will have their own bike and terrain requirements.
