French bakery meets Vietnamese kitchen

O Happy Bread brings two very good reasons to stop in Pahrump: French breads and pastries, plus a Vietnamese menu with bánh mì, spring rolls, curry soups and Vietnamese iced coffee. Pick up something for the road, or sit down and make a meal of it.
The Vietnamese kitchen also serves pho, with steak and brisket, steak and roast beef, chicken and vegetarian versions reported in the restaurant’s recent menu update. The French bakery favorites are still here too.

Put Steelbound on your list for a beer stop once the day’s riding is done. Pahrump’s visitor directory lists the brewery and distillery right on Highway 160, making it easy to work into an evening back in town.

Pahrump’s craft meadery & cidery

This family-run Pahrump taproom makes mead and cider on-site, pouring them by the glass or in tasting flights. Mead starts with honey; cider starts with apples. Stonewise also offers Nevada craft beers and nonalcoholic craft sodas, so the group has plenty to explore.
Bring takeout or a picnic: outside food is welcome, with snacks available in the taproom. Stonewise is right next door to Chatthai Bistro, and Chatthai delivers food to the taproom. Order Thai food to enjoy with your mead or cider for an easy evening off the bikes.

Carry enough food and water for the outing rather than relying on a restaurant appearing when you get hungry. Pick up supplies in town and use a cooler for food that needs to stay cold.
Match the meal to your route
Pahrump and Beatty are separate towns, not neighboring restaurant districts. Choose the food stop that fits your sightseeing route, and allow time to get there before the kitchen closes.
Ask about your group in advance
For a group, check seating and food needs with the restaurant before arriving. A current menu and a quick conversation are more useful than an old review when someone has an allergy or a specific dietary requirement.
